Japanese cosplayer Hikari-Green will share all about being an Otaku and Cosplayer in Japan, with over 15 years of experience. Hikari will go over the history of these two unique Japanese cultures – how did they come to be mainstream in Japan and how society perceived them over the years. As a cosplayer, she showcased Japan to many foreign friends in 10 years, and now she will be happy to recommend places and conventions for those who want to enjoy the anime and cosplay culture. In addition, you’ll get a sneak peak to the Japanese Otaku lexicon that your probably haven’t know, and as a bonus – Hikari will teach you the best way to approach Japanese Cosplayers, Fujoshi and shier kind of Otaku.

About the Lecturer
A Japanese cosplayer living in Tokyo with 17 years of cosplaying experience. Sewn over 200 outfits. For the past 10 years she has been working as a professional economist investor in one of Japan’s biggest banks, but has retired to manage her independent business as a Cosplayer.
